�於我�的文化,很少�西能比得上我�所吃的食物。一本由 Paul R. Mullins,Ph.D.,IUPUI 的人��家,所撰�的新�《Glazed America: A History of the Doughnut》,透�我��甜甜圈(��多人所�,一��惑的象徵,�其�人不健康,��:��下文)的��,探索美�消�文化的�展。

在史前�代的某一�刻,某�人把�粉扔近油中,而甜甜圈(doughnuts,油炸圈�)的祖先就���生了。自此以後,每�文化都有油炸�粉,而且�多�甜物加入生��中。

◆ 美�肥胖人口再增 密西西比州胖子最多

(中央社�者�蕙燕�特�大二十一日��)�管美�政府再三宣�健康�食���,美�人但�愈�愈肥,肥胖人口不但�有�少,反而比�年前增加了百分之二。其中密西西比州逾三成的人口太胖,而全美平均最苗�的科�拉多州,但胖子也�了百分之十八�七。

美�疾病控制�防中心(CDC)公布的���一九八五年到二零零七年的�查�示,美�去年的肥胖人口比二零零五年的百分之二十三�九,�近多出了��百分�,�到百分之二十五�六,也就是四�人中有一人是胖子。

全美肥胖人口不�反增,使得「�肥」的目�更形��。因�美�政府原定在二零一零年�,�全美的肥胖人口�少到��人口的百分之十五以下。

根�界定肥胖的指��身��量指�(BMI值),即�重(公斤)除以身高(公尺)的平方。一般��BMI值介於十八�五至二十五�健康,二十五至三十��重,三十以上�肥胖。

��根�全美超�三十五�年�在十八�以上的成年人每年所做的�查�示,全美BMI超�三十以上的肥胖人口,比例超�百分之三十以上的州,都是位於南方,分�依序是密西西比、阿拉巴�、田�西。其中,密西西比百分之三十二的肥胖人口比率,�近每三�人中就有一人是胖子。

肥胖��在美�南方最突出,平均百分之二十七以上�胖子;其次是中西部平均�百分之二十五�三;�北部�百分之二十三�三;西部�百分之二十二�一。

在CDC���查中,全美肥胖低於百分之二十的州,只有科�拉多。

而在全美肥胖人口�第八名的�治�州,肥胖人口比例�百分之二十八�二。�估�,肥胖�引�糖尿病、心�病等慢性疾病,由此衍生的整�社�成本一年�到二十一�美元。

After lunch, tay went to the basement there to buy donuts, Marcial Kobe - its small ring size donut.午餐后,河西到地下室有购买donuts , marcial神户-它的小环的大小的d onut。

The donut craze in Singapore was kick-start by the emergent of the rivalry between Donut factory at raffles city, and Dippin' Donut (of former Vinco fame) at Vivocity a few years back.该甜甜圈的热潮在新加坡被启动,由新兴的之间的对立甜甜圈工厂在莱佛士城,并迪平'甜甜圈 (前vinco名利)在vivocity几年回。

Krispy Kreme is best known for the original glazed, but they make other sorts of doughnuts, too.
